I spotted this subtle gem on the way to lunch the other day. Not only does this driver support VA Tech, but they also support USC! Welcome to the site USC! It looks like they might lean towards the closer school a bit more by putting a 3rd magnet right below the tailgate latch. Well done sir, keep it classy.

This guy is very proud of his tailgate worthy, cooler full o’ bud lite and grill toting MAROON truck.  And with a gigantic truck, comes gigantic magnets.  This truck features magnets on two sides declaring “On our way to see the hokies play” and on the side “Virginia Tech Tailgating”.  Please, someone send in some non-VA Tech pics!

Virginia Tech – Not Quite 37 Pieces of Flair

Another fan submission, and another piece of evidence to support the maroon theory.  This car is so hokied out that I don’t know where to start.  Let’s do this methodically:

1. Ribbons!  This may be a sticker, there’s definitely no need for this considering how much other paraphernalia plasters this car.
2. Virginia Tech window sticker – this in my book is totally ok, but not this time…keep reading.
3. Virginia Tech license plate border – another totally fine accessory, but again, ONE of these accessories is sufficient for letting the outside world know where you went to school.
4. VT car badge.  It’s a little hard to see because it’s behind a water droplet from this fan submission, but it’s one of those where the VT is supposed to blend into the car’s aesthetics.  It kind of does…everything else does not.
5. VT license plate.  I usually blur it all out, but I wanted to point out that this is a VT vanity plate ALSO with a personalized plate.  They could’ve taken the plate with random numbers, but they had to personalize it even further.
6. MAROON! You have to think that they chose this color deliberately by now, right?  Have I made a believer of you yet?

I have long spoken of my hunch that obsessive Va Tech fans were buying maroon cars just to match their maroon magnets.  That statement is quickly going from theory to fact.  This poor guy almost sacrificed the TL badge to sport the huge VT magnet.
