Four magnets, count them, four.  The Hokie bird magnets are flowing in at a steady pace now, but there’s something on this truck I haven’t seen before.  A Hokie footprint.  Something tells me that the VA Tech bookstore was wiped clean of magnets after this person tore through the store.  Thanks for the submission Andrew!

Sorry, no more magnets left in the bookstore

First off, great pic from a fan.  A beautiful sight of a pink sunsetting sky, and a pickup truck with three of the hugest magnets ever displayed simultaneously that support three wildly different areas of the country.  Since this is BCCM, first there’s the giant T for Tennesee Vols.  Then there’s the gigantic Dallas Cowboys star (they have a stellar team this year btw), and the last magnet is for the Phillies.  So…maybe, coast to coast was an exaggeration, but, it got darn close.  Only a couple more of these, and it’d look a Nascar Truck Series.

Penn State seems to be catching up in the ranks of BCCMs.  I have to say, well done on getting the Accord that matches the blue hue of the Nittany Lion paw.  I won’t go so far as to saying that I’m formulating a similar theory for you all a la the “maroon theory” and VA Tech, but…a couple more of these and it’s not a coincidence anymore.  Very classy putting it on the side though, I’ll have to commend you on that.

Oh yeah, this was a fan submission…keep it up!

Very bold UVA’er.  Both a magnet AND a vanity plate.  Are you really going to let VA Tech win this rivalary of who can have the biggest car magnets stuck to your car?  Seriously…I thought you all had some pride.

And the grand prize goes to a loyal and dedicated reader and submitter.  Congratulations…you win…nothing!  Nothing but the sheer joy of exposing this phenomena to the rest of the world.  Ladies and gentlemen, I bring to you, the rare and elusive 1 foot hokie bird magnet…ON AN RV NO LESS!  I can’t even explain to you how perfect this is.  There are three, count them…three, VA Tech magnets.  The classic abbreviated “VT” magnet, a verbose and explicitly spelled out “Virginia Tech” magnet and finally the symbolic and awe-inspiring hokie bird.

I challenged you readers from the very beginning, and it didn’t take too long.  My feeling is that now that the first one has been found, there will be a flood of submissions with more 1 foot hokie bird magnets.  I hope it stays rare, but please, prove me wrong.  And for your viewing pleasure…

Usually magnets support schools that have good sports programs.  I don’t think that W&M ranks up there for any D1 sports, but I’m here to poke fun at the tackiness of oversized car magnets!  It still doesn’t look good!  Welcome to EWoBCCM W&M!

I spotted this subtle gem on the way to lunch the other day. Not only does this driver support VA Tech, but they also support USC! Welcome to the site USC! It looks like they might lean towards the closer school a bit more by putting a 3rd magnet right below the tailgate latch. Well done sir, keep it classy.

These standard VT magnets are starting to look small compared to some of the gems that I’ve found lately.  There’s not much to say, but it looks just as bad as the other ones.  Thanks to a fan for submitting!
